Ioanna Kofina was born in Athens. She lives and works in PiraeusShe studied economics at Panteion University.

Her involvement with photography begins in adolescence as a means of personal expression and the need to see and interpret the world. In 2016-17 she attended photography school named «FOCUS».

In 2018 She attended seminars on photography in cinema at the photographic group “Routes” and from 2018 until today she attends art photography courses with Vasilis Gerontakos. She has taken part in group exhibitions. 

Many of her photographs have been published in a foreign publication.
